Sound allows us a chance to turn off the mind and drop into a deep state of relaxation.
For thousands of years, sound has been used in ancient cultures to ease anxiety and promote a sense of well being.
Embodied Sounds represents a blended approach to this practice including traditions such as Nada Yoga, an ancient Indian system of philosophy, medicine and yoga that focuses on sound vibrations as the center of our being.
A soundbath experience begins with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position, often with a blanket and an eye mask. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession.
The sounds introduced during a sound bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective on what’s going on within you.
The goal of our experiences is to invite deep rest and relaxation and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery.
