California based facilitator and multi-instrumentalist, Joshua shares his passion for sound as a therapeutic modality with groups of all ages. He has travelled across five continents on a musical journey of self-discovery, absorbing straight from the source of the world's oldest traditions. He devotes his life to channel wisdom from the masters across disciplines of yoga, percussion, vibrational healing and transpersonal psychology. He firmly believes that in our fast-paced modern world, it is critical to slow down and connect back to ourselves. Music has been Joshua's safe haven during times of stress and he is excited to inspire others to feel the enormous potential of sound. Joshua co-created the Sounds of the Ocean benefit concert series to raise awareness of ocean noise pollution. This project combines recordings of whales and dolphins with live instruments to offer a healing immersive sound experience.
Humbly, Josh has shared soundscapes at festivals, conferences, retreats and yoga studios including; The Esalen Institute, The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, UCLA Healing Arts, San Francisco Parks Alliance, Shakti Fest, Relaxpansion Festival, Pleasure Point Yoga, DiviniTree Yoga, Laughing Lotus Yoga, Yoga Tree and has facilitated workshops for organizations including Wee Yogis, Yoga for all Movement, and Jakarta International School. As a percussionist, he has performed with friends such as: The Hanuman Project, Nat Kendall, Sam Garrett, Janet Stone, Emily Perry, Johanna Beekman, Joss Jaffe, Kat Macmillan, Yolande Harris, Jens Jarvie, Jesse Perlstein & Bruno Teixeira.
